Popular social media networking company Twitter is apparently in the news for all the right reasons. The firm, as per reliable reports, has launched ‘twttr’ – its prototype app, that will seemingly enable testers examine novel features and deliver feedback. For the uninitiated, Twttr is the social network firm’s original name.

Sources familiar with the knowledge of the matter affirm that the Twitter Prototype Program is liable to try and make conversations much easier to find and follow. Also, users will be able to apply for joining the program on Twitter’s official site. It is being speculated that the users will be receiving an email in a few weeks regarding their application status.

As per a series of screenshots that were posted by a social media consultant, the chosen users for the program are requested to use twttr as their primary Twitter app. Additionally, the users are instructed to tweet screenshots regarding the new features they are testing with the hashtag – #LetsHaveAConvo. The users are also expected to share their honest feedback with Twitter via a form.

Credible reports claim that the social media company has been exploring the notion of adding color to tweet replies that would enable a user posting an initial tweet to view the responses in grey. The replies from the followers meanwhile, can be in blue. Twitter apparently, is also on the verge of considering a new design for replies – perhaps like making them look more rounded, so that conversions get the feel and look of a chat.

An official report from the company claims that not all the features being tested may be released to the public. Or, it may also be plausible that the tested features may change. If a tested feature turns out to be successful, it may not be available to the public for many weeks, quoted sources.

Twitter’s official statement also affirms that most of the participants in the prototype program will be Japanese or English speakers.
